The goal of technology transfer is defined as making UTC research results available to potential users in a form that can be directly implemented or otherwise applied.
Examples of such activities are:
- Principal Investigators publishing and presenting papers at conferences, seminars and workshops
- Distribution of final reports through this website, NTIS, TRB and other professional journals
- University- and Center-sponsored conferences held to report research results
Many research projects also apply new approaches and advances directly through the researchers' work with state and local agencies.
